This was my first time visiting their Kinex outlet, as I’ve only been to their Chinatown location before. The steamboat here is great, featuring a unique individual hotpot and grill concept. The prices are very competitive, especially for children—they offer half-price meals, which is about $3 less than the adult price, making it a great deal compared to other places. However, I found the tongs provided to be quite small and difficult to use, which made the experience a bit unpleasant. I ended up simply using chopsticks instead. Despite this small inconvenience, I still enjoyed the meal overall and would recommend this place for a fun and family-friendly dining experience. Oh ya, thank you for the fruits platter for the birthday celebration! 😍

Had a great meal at Good Combo in Kinex. The food was delicious, well-prepared, and served fresh. The portions were satisfying and the menu offered a good variety of options. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and had a pleasant atmosphere. Definitely a place I would visit again and recommend to others looking for a good meal in the area.

Tried the hotpot + BBQ combo at Good Combo Hotpot & BBQ Kinex 左煮右烤加东 and honestly pretty worth it for the price. Love the individual hotpot + grill setup so everyone can cook at their own pace without fighting over the pot 😂 The marinated meats and pork belly were surprisingly good, and there’s a solid variety of mushrooms, noodles, fishballs, beancurd skin, and sides. Soup base was decent, especially with the DIY sauce mix. Good balance between BBQ and steamboat if you want both in one meal. Service was fast, ingredients were fresh, and the place was spacious and comfortable for groups. Great spot for a casual feast with friends after gym/work. Would come back again 👍 🍲🔥

[PAYA LEBAR, SINGAPORE] If you are looking for budget Chinese style bbq or hotpot, @goodcombo_hotpotbbq is a place to consider. With quite quality dishes for the price and student promotions, you really can get good value out of this! From cooked dishes, to regular hotpot dishes to marinated meats to BBQ, there's many that we liked. I personally like the saliva chicken from the cooked section, while my partner loved the condensed milk mantous! They don't have a huge range of soup bases, but their Golden Soup is pretty fantastic. Heavy bodied, rich and comforting, it's a soup base I will order again! You can pick many different veggie, tofu and meat dishes to throw inside, but our favourite is their fish slices and tiger prawns. Both were so fresh and snappy! As for BBQ meats, all I needed was their marinated pork, as it was seasoned really well and was tender! They have other meat options too, though I didn't have enough stomach space to try them 😂 At just $29.99, the Signature Buffet is really good enough. Both the hotpot and BBQ cook really fast, so you don't need to wait much to chow down on more food! Students, the buffet is only $18.88 NETT so that's even more value for money 😱 [media invite]

Went there recently and quite enjoyed their new setup. Each person gets their own hotpot and grill which makes it much easier to cook at your own pace without having to share space. The variety is pretty wide and I liked that I could just take what I felt like eating and cook it how I wanted. Grilled some of my favourite items and even made my own egg omelette on the side which was quite fun. Ended the meal with popcorn, ice cream and chilled desserts.

An excellent buffet experience from start to finish. The spread was extensive and thoughtfully curated, with a great balance of international and local dishes. Every section was well executed — from the fresh seafood and beautifully prepared mains to the desserts, which were not overly sweet and nicely presented. Ingredients tasted fresh, and the food was consistently replenished, even during peak hours. What really stood out was the quality and consistency. Nothing felt mass-produced despite the scale of the buffet, and several dishes were clearly prepared with care and attention to detail. The live stations were a nice touch and added to the overall experience.

Amazing Value & Delicious Hotpot + BBQ at Kinex! I just had one of the best value-for-money hotpot and BBQ buffets I've experienced in a long time! I went for their Supreme Promotion at Kinex, which starts after 9 PM, and opted for their top-tier buffet with the fantastic 50% off for the second diner. The soup bases were incredibly flavourful – I tried both the tomato soup and herbal soup, and both were exceptional. I recently was addicted to their Fish Mae soup; very thick flavourful. I have to mention most of their waiters are really friendly; especially the Vietnamese girl. Very good services. Let me know the name next time, so i can give you a good review! The premium beef broth soup was just okay. I highly recommend the herbal soup instead; with a little simmering, it becomes a rich, thick, and protein-packed delight. The tomato soup and the premium fish maw soup are also fantastic options, with the latter being my new personal favorite. The atmosphere was clean, relaxing, and spacious, making for a very comfortable dining experience. Service was also excellent throughout the meal; one of the vietnamese staffs even remember what was me and my friends’ usual go-to soup base! Impressive! As i mentioned earlier, their Premium Beef Broth soup was just ok; i think the Herbal Soup and Tomato Soup tasted much better after a correct simmering of the soup! Slightly cheaper too. What really stood out was the high quality of all the dishes, including the fantastic side dishes like their kimchi, mushrooms, and cold chicken. I truly enjoyed the premium items as well, especially the beef tongue, snow beef, shoulder blade, crayfish, and the delightful onsen egg dip. I'm so glad I found this place, i recently went just a week ago (2025 DEC) and the waitresses (both vietnam and china) still remember me! I was overwhelm with joy for that, and it has absolutely has become my very top go-to place for a Hotpot + BBQ buffet! 🙏🏻 A great shoutout to both of them for their truly excellent service! I especially appreciate that they remembered my choice of soup; that personal touch really stood out.

The ingredients are impressively diverse — you can enjoy both hotpot on the left and BBQ on the right. The dishes are served swiftly, and the service is attentive, with staff promptly clearing the tables. Drinks, desserts, and a wide variety of side dishes are all free-flow, making it a truly satisfying dining experience.
